It is nice property in a nice location in the Financial District. Unfortunately, the staff is only so-so and the amenities are less than ideal. We used this hotel because we were coming to a family wedding and the brides family had a special package deal with this hotel. Upon arrival, at 4 PM, we were told one or more rooms were not cleaned and that our reservation could not be found. After much back turned whispering and involving the 'boss man' they finally made some changes to get us assigned to rooms that were cleaned. At one point they gave the Wedding Welcome gift to one in our party and then asked for it back, explaining that the gifts would be delivered to our rooms. When our gift arrived the young man also gave us a bottle of wine, I thanked him and went back into the room only to discover that the wine bottle was half empty and had been opened. I took it back down to the desk and got some feeble excuse about it was to be delivered to a room that had left it in the lounge. Now lets talk about the lounge, it is very limited in selection and is only open during a few hours on weekdays. Even more disappointing is the food service available in the lounge. It is only offered in the morning and is a pitiful selection of pastries, cheeses and processed meats. It is $25.00 per person! If location is your only concern then take a look at this property among the many others available on the Manhattan side and the Brooklyn side.

Cons. Room reeked of cigarette smoke when I arrived and unfortunately the hotel was full - but they had no spray or way to mitigate the smell until the following day. Completely unacceptable.
