Restaurant and bar was closed despite a group of employees standing around doing nothing. The rooms were just ok. After checking in, I just wanted to book another hotel room somewhere else and leave. I'll never go back to this hotel. Does not live up to the Hilton standards, should be called Motel 6.
Pros. It was clean and beds were comfortable. We felt safe and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good. The pool was nice.
Cons. Wile the pool was open, the outdoor bar and hot tub was closed due to a car running off the road and hitting it. That was unavoidable on the hotel’s part of course bat we were told it had happened there months previously. No work had been done on it and the indoor bar did not open until 4 or 5 depending on the day. The only alcoholic beverages available were canned mixed drinks and beer available in the little shop the have. We like spending the day at the pool and going out at night so that was a disappointment. The biggest issue is the location. We knew that when we booked it with Hilton Honor points. Unfortunately, it was more inconvenient than we thought. There is a shuttle that was free at the time we were there although signs said $19.95 a day unlimited. The shuttle was usually full goin and we were dropped off several blocks from Duval and Mallory square although there were shops and restaurants at the location. We used it to go downtown but used Lyft to come back because of the drop off / pick up location. So, my low rating is for the relatively high price compared to the location.
Pros. Great Pool with Pool Bar. Good locations, just at the entrance to Key West, you can't miss it.
Cons. Houskeeping could have been a little better. First Day, our towels were not changed, which was alright. But we didn't get wash cloths. Also had to use Hand Towel as a bath mat.
Cons. Housekeeping
