Hotel Edison is a beautiful, modern hotel situated right in the heart of downtown New York City. Visitors to the Big Apple will relish this top-end art deco hotel as it is within walking distance of Broadway and Times Square. Of course, there is a lot more to see near the hotel then just Times Square. Visitors can go and explore the International Center of Photography, The Museum of Modern Art, Morgan Library and Museum, American Folk Art Museum, and much more.
Within the hotel, guests have a few different dining options to explore. The Rum House is an upscale urban cocktail lounge with the menu of a casual tiki bar. While thirsty guests can try just about any drink, the specialty here is decidedly on rum cocktails and rare rums for sampling. Bond 45 is an upscale Italian restaurant that spans two different floors. Finally, there is Friedman's a health-forward eatery that specializes in incredible gluten-free dishes.
The Edison has three different room types: Classic, Signature, and Suite. The Suites are the largest of the rooms with the most amenities as well. These amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers, Keurig coffee makers, Frette linens, C.O. Bigelow bath amenities, mini fridge, and a crisp 42" LCD flat screen HDTV. All of the rooms can be reserved in either one or two-bed configurations depending on how many guests will be there for the duration of the stay.

Everything at the hotel could have been better i do not recommend this hotel
Last time we got bigger and nicer room! This time we were on the top floor, level 22 The room was smaller and not new like promised We were a little bit disappointed. Still good hotel, and location
The location was great as it was three blocks from my office however, the room was a matchbox. While the bed was comfortable, the room (1922) has NO VIEW and it was super small, Breakfast coupons were provided but for a very limited menu. The grab and go breakfast (an egg sandwich with sausage) was ice cold. The plated breakfast which you need to sit down for has an upcharge of $5.00 and really is not worth the wait or the money because you will still leave hungry. I wouldn't book again there.,
Pros. The location is the best for the price. The room with two beds was great for be in New York. The beds are not that confortable but for is ok for the amount of hours that we sleep. The bathroom needs some love. I’m not sure but I think that the ceiling of the bathroom leaked from the bathroom above.
Cons. The bathroom needs some love comparing to others hotels in the area.
